Does The Term Structured Support Scare You

There are many people that are scared of the term structured support. They mostly think that structured support is following a programme and ticking boxes. That’s not our way.

We like to think about creating a garden within which a business choose its path, expand into new areas and go back and tend to areas that have got a bit tatty.

The structure is thought. Simple in concept, but hard enough to put many people off of doing much of it, or at least only doing the minimum required to keep things running.

Our Message

Our message to all our customers is one of constant, and collaborative, discussion to ensure the right things happen more often than not. Let’s be honest about this – nobody is perfect, and nothing goes right first time every time.

Adding structure, through thought processes, will enable your results to be more accurate more often. Because “thinking is the hardest thing we do” (according to Henry Ford) we tend to avoid it where we can. It’s just human nature.

As we have experienced so much, we can provide you with a perspective that may not yet be in your radar yet. There’s nothing wrong in that either, we all have experiences that someone else doesn’t have. What we have been able to do is gather experiences from assisting many clients and help you to formulate a progressive path.

No Boxes To Tick

You see, there’s no boxes to tick. No preset programme to follow. This is purely a programme developed with your business at its centre to enable you to maximise the benefits of your efforts.

You are the heart and soul of your business, and it is not out job to change that.

Moving Forward – Your Way

To agree a way forward, you have to recount and learn from the past. This means that both you and us need to understand what has happened by listening to the results. People discount the importance of listening, but to us it means that you want to be able to extract important messages and use them to build a better future.

There is no magic wand to use, there is no pixie dust to make things lightweight, there is though a lot to be gained through considered action. It’s the same with every garden, while you’re working away in one corner changing things, the lawn still needs to be mowed, and the flowerbeds still need weeding. Change without monitoring what is going on elsewhere will give you a whole lot of problems to go back to.

We always encourage people to look over their shoulders so that they do not lose sight of the day-to-day activities. We always encourage people to remember that without them what you’re trying to do now can be meaningless.

The business world is a cruel mistress and the requirements of it keep on changing. New experiences mean that our responsibilities keep on growing. We feel that as much as you and we still have our “go to” people.

Based on my previous blogs, this one is quite light on detail. Please look through the other blogs and see if the information you want is provided. Some of what I provide is very detailed.
